Location
Toucan Diving is a PADI Five Star Instructor Development Center, marina-side at the Plaza Resort Bonaire with filled tanks available 24 hours a day at the shop itself and at 2 locations beachside for the 18 Palms "house reef" dive. Toucan Diving features an air-conditioned classroom, retail & rental center, photo & video shop, air-fill & nitrox fill-station, gear storage (lockers), gear & camera only rinse tank, bathrooms and dock with a convenient ramp leading to boat level plus a ramp shop-side for easy loading & unloading of tanks and gear.

Dive Boats
Toucan Diving operates with (3) Island Hopper dive boats (12 divers + 2 crew) plus one larger, Sea Aruba boat (18 divers + 2 crew). All boats are equipped with oxygen, medic first aid kit, fresh water and VHF radio.

Boat Schedule
Separate single and two tank boat trips depart the dock each morning at 8:30a.m. plus a single-tank afternoon option at 1:30p.m. Night boat trips are offered twice weekly based on a 4 diver minimum. Most boat trips are within 15-20 minutes along Bonaire's tranquil western shoreline or around Klein Bonaire (island) a short distance across the harbor.

Instruction Offered
PADI from beginner courses to IDC Staff Instructor (PADI Course Director on staff) and Universal Referrals, offered in English, Dutch, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Swedish, Danish and Papiamento in the dive center’s air-conditioned classroom which seats 20-30 people comfortably.

Aquakids
Kids ages 5-15 can explore the wonders of the Caribbean Sea while learning how to snorkel safely. This innovative 5-day program takes place under the supervision of our professional staff in the calm and shallow ocean waters in front of the Plaza Resort Bonaire. Snorkeling, fish I.D., arts & crafts, snacks, SASY and more! Bubblemaker and PADI Seal program also available.

Bonaire Marine Park entry fee is $25 per diver per calendar year. All divers are required by the Bonaire Marine Park to carry out a dive orientation & shore orientation dive before participating in any diving activities.
